English proficiency programs for multinational teams, workplace communication, presentations, and cross-cultural business skills. Group sessions, 1-on-1 coaching, intensive workshops, on-site and virtual delivery.
English proficiency programs for multinational teams, workplace communication, presentations, and cross-cultural business skills. Edlingo designs every program around your industry's specific communication needs, your employees' current proficiency levels, and your business objectives.
Our corporate english programs cover group training, executive 1-on-1 coaching, intensive pre-deployment workshops, and ongoing virtual cohorts. All instruction is delivered by vetted native or near-native English speakers with professional backgrounds in your sector.

Live instruction (on-site or virtual) with regular progress reports for HR and management.
Every Edlingo program follows the same structure, and the structure is what makes the results measurable. It starts with a CEFR-aligned placement for each participant, including a short speaking test, not just a written one. Curriculum design comes next, built from your real scenarios: the meetings your team sits in, the documents it reads, the calls it takes. Delivery happens in live 60 to 90 minute sessions, on-site or virtual. At the end of every month, HR gets a report.
A planning benchmark worth knowing: moving up one full CEFR level takes roughly 80 to 120 guided hours, depending on the learner's first language and the intensity. At two sessions a week, that is a 6 to 9 month program per level. We would rather say so up front than promise fluency in six weeks. For the full method, read our guide on how to design a corporate language training program and the explainer on employee language assessment.
Corporate English training is usually bought for one of three reasons: a workforce that speaks another language at home, non-native professionals who need to present and negotiate, or a company that relocated staff to the US.
Three measurement points: baseline, mid-point and completion. Each one scores the participant against the CEFR can-do statements for their target level (for example, "can explain a technical problem to a customer" or "can run a 30 minute meeting"). Between assessments, the instructor logs attendance and progress by skill, and HR receives the monthly dashboard.
The business metrics are yours, not ours, but we help connect them: onboarding time for new hires, customer complaints caused by miscommunication, safety incidents on multilingual crews, or the number of meetings that no longer need an interpreter. That is the basis of the return you can show leadership.
On-site works best when the team shares a location and a schedule, when speaking practice is the priority (operations, customer service, healthcare) and when the company wants the training to be visible. Virtual wins when participants are spread across cities or shifts, when the budget does not cover instructor travel, or for office roles already used to video meetings.
Most of our clients end up combining both: on-site sessions at headquarters and live virtual cohorts everywhere else, with the same curriculum and the same reporting. For an executive with a moving calendar, 1-on-1 executive language coaching is usually the most efficient option.
Weeks 1 and 2. Scoping call with HR and the department lead. CEFR placement for every participant (30 minutes written, 10 minutes spoken). Cohorts formed by level and shift. Statement of work signed.
Weeks 3 and 4. The instructor receives your real materials and builds the first six weeks of content. First session with each cohort. Fixed calendar published for the quarter.
Weeks 5 to 12. Two sessions a week per cohort, short tasks between sessions, pace adjusted to attendance. First monthly report in week 8. In week 12, mid-point assessment and a review meeting with HR to decide the next stage.
It depends on the starting point and the frequency. With two 60 to 90 minute sessions a week plus practice between sessions, a group starting at A1 usually reaches a working A2 in 4 to 6 months and B1 (independent professional use) in 8 to 12 months. The CEFR placement sets a realistic target before you sign.
Yes. Most programs combine on-site sessions at the main location with live virtual cohorts for everyone else. Curriculum, lead instructor and reporting are identical across groups.
A monthly report per cohort covering attendance, progress by skill (speaking, listening, reading, writing), estimated CEFR level and instructor notes. At the end, a final assessment against the baseline and a recommendation for the next stage.
Instructors are matched by sector and working vocabulary. Before the first session the instructor receives your real scenarios (meetings, documents, calls) and builds the material from them.
Per participant per hour, based on group size, frequency and duration. A typical group program costs less per person than 1-on-1 coaching, and organizations training several teams get volume rates. See how much corporate language training costs or request a quote.
